Required for sand filters.

Available in 8/16 and 16/30 grades.

Function

Silica sand is the standard filter media.

Special Purpose Filter Media include:
Paly Sand for improved backwashing and finer filtration. Normal Paly Sand grade is 2.5 to 0.25 mm Other special uses may require, Anthracite, Lignite or Activated Carbon.

Ym-Fab have a new filter media which has been developed to reduce backwashing in all applications. This will be available soon.

Regular maintenance helps quality of wash water.
